Mixed Doubles Tournament Recap

This weekend saw our inaugural mixed doubles tournament take place. We had some great pairs on show in both the main event and the plate. Harrison Waite & Fiona Price came out on top after 3 sets in the plate whilst the main event saw Ipswich take on Maldon in the final. David & Emily came out on top and made sure Maldon had some silverware to celebrate! Deserved champions, they managed to wrap up the final in just two sets.

A huge well done to everyone who took part and battled on through the heat.

League:

Whilst the excitement of the tournament took precedent this weekend, we haven’t forgot about our league.

David Bugg & William Ballard will hope they get on to the scoreboard sooner rather than later whilst Peter & Cameron look to be in a good position for promotion.

Strong starts from 3 pairs in Group 1 will make for a very thrilling ending where every set will count.

Remember, we will be releasing another group upon the ending of this phase. Stay tuned!
